A thematic approach to Hispanic American cultures and civilization. Individual course sections may focus alternately on topics such as Contemporary Art, Cinema, Popular Music, Cuisine, Dictatorship and Democracy, Globalization, Popular Resistance, Human Rights, Exile and/or Immigration. Course may be repeated as the content changes.
