Foundations of language and literacy provides foundational knowledge and advanced readings in linguistics, language acquisition, psycho-linguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, and semiotics as well as reading on race, class, and culture language content knowledge of those preparing to become researchers and university faculty in literacy education.
