ELED 3100 - CLASSROOM READING INSTRUCTION

This course introduces students to teaching and learning processes of reading instruction in elementary schools, emphasizing competencies for teaching phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension while focusing on instructional techniques, methods, and materials for whole-class reading instruction. Prerequisite/Restriction: HDFS 1500 with a C or better And one of the following with a B- or better: ELED 1010 TEAL 1010
