This is an introduction to the historical, social, and cultural foundations of education. Students examine the interdependence of school and society, along with the influence of that interdependence on curricular and instructional practices in PreK-12 classrooms. Prerequisite: HDFS 1500 with a C or better And one of the following with a B- or better: TEAL 1010 ELED 1010 Corequisites: TEAL 3002 TEAL 3660 ELED 3100
