NDFS 5800 - CNSEL/MOTIV INTRVW HLTH PRO

This course is designed to provide in-depth counseling and motivational interviewing theories, concepts, and skill development for health care professionals. The course will rely heavily on practiced-based learning opportunities. Cross List: NDFS 6800 Prerequisites:NDFS 4060 for undergraduate students only. No prerequisites required for graduate students. Would prefer to limit the course to certain health related graduate degrees, if possible. For example, Masters of Dietetic Administration, Masters of Public Health, Masters of Science in Nutrition, Doctorate in Nutrition Science, Masters of Health Promotion.This course is designed to provide in-depth counseling and motivational interviewing theories, concepts, and skill development for health care professionals.
