This course provides students with knowledge and skills necessary for conducting assessment activities with pupils having severe disabilities. It covers norm-referenced/standardized, criterion-referenced, and alternative assessment instruments. Students complete assignments in administering, interpreting, and communicating results of each type of assessment. Prerequisite/Restrictions: All prerequisite courses require a grade of B- or better: ELED 3100, MATH 2010, MATH 2020, SPED 4000, SPED 5040 and TEAL 3660, or instructor permission
