Examines role of promotion concepts in development of a communication strategy. Based on an introduction to the nature of communications, course covers advertising, personal selling, and sales promotion, emphasizing the competitive and strategic value of communications in both the marketplace and society. Prerequisite/Restriction: Grade of B- (2.67) or better in MSLE 3500; admittance to a USU major, cumulative GPA of 2.67 or higher, completion of at least 40 credits.
