This course is an introduction to the historical, social, and cultural foundations of education. Students examine the interdependence of school and society along with the influence of that interdependence on curricular and instructional practices. Prerequisites/Restrictions: ELED 1010 or TEAL 1010 with a B- or higher HDFS 1500 or FCHD 1500 with a B- or higher MATH 1050 or MATH 1051 with a C- or higher BLS or BPS requirement completed Licensure lane designation
